Amin plan

Amin Project

Amin Project is an official agreement between a numbers of libraries. According to this project, each library can provide its required resources of the users from other libraries, if they are not in its own collection. All libraries of the universities and educational centers in the country can become the member of this project. The period of the membership is two years in this project and it can be renewed. The Central Library and Documents Center of the University of Shiraz has become a member in Amin Project (Interlibrary Loan) to offer comprehensive information and better service to the users.

According to this project, every required resources by the students such as the books, the articles are provided if they are available in those libraries and not available in the libraries of Shiraz University and they are provided through the order department of the Persian periodicals of the Central Library and then they are given to the other libraries which are the member of Amin Project.

How to use Amin Project

The users of this project must refer to the library in which they are members and if that library is a member in this project, they can use this project through a responsible person. Amin Project is an official agreement between a numbers of libraries. According to this project, each library can provide its required resources of the users from other libraries, if they are not in its own collection.

These services are provided as follow:

Lending service: A document of a library is lent to another library

Document Delivery Service: The copy edition of a document in a library is provided for another library.

Electronic Resources Delivery Service: The text of the required articles is received via e-mail (e-mail) and sent to the e-mail address of the applicants.

The Iranian Information and Documentation Center (NIC) serves as the coordinator of this project, and all membered libraries are required to act in accordance with the rules and regulations of this center.
